Natural Immunity ...a Bug in the Works.

I've long wondered why those who have recovered from the virus are never talked about and never considered when it comes to passports etc.

The antibodies your body developed are exactly the same as the antibodies that your body was tricked into developing with a vaccine. The 'T' cells developed are the same.

So logically a blood test showing you have Covid 'T" cells is as good as a passport. However it's never discussed or considered by those pushing the 100% vaccination plan.

Instead, we get lies like this :

Not sure why the push more die every year from homicides in Canada than people under 50 from covid.

Just over 600 homicides a year, covid took under 600 in 18 months.

You have better chances of being murdered than dying from covid if your under 50

Good post. The problem is we have moved sooo far beyond common sense and basic truths like this. It's waayy down on the priority list...

Raise these questions anywhere and you will be mocked, banned or fired.

If the vaccine was so wonderful and effective they wouldn't need celebrity pop star endorsements to desperately try and wrangle children into getting it.

They wouldn't have to incentivize it in any way, or purposely make life difficult for 'anti-vaxxers' as they have overtly stated. If covid was so deadly, life would already be difficult for everyone. If it was the black plague where hundreds of thousands were quickly dropping like flies, there would be no vaccination hesitancy. Even if the chance of death from the vaccine was around 45-50%...way better odds than surviving the plague.

But with covid its very much the other way around.

I'm truly befuddled that there is NO dialogue to support the immunity of those that have recovered from the virus. No acknowledging they have the same rights and privileges as those that were vaccinated. Same 'T' cells..same immunity.

There are over 1/2 million KNOWN cases that have recovered in Ontario alone. The estimates account that that is only 1 in10 of actual cases due to asymptomatic people and those who had mild symptoms and didn't report for testing etc. Rough estimate that means there could be up to 5 million of the 14 million..a 1/3rd... in the province who have natural immunity.

Yet they aren't being accounted for in the herd Immunity numbers because they weren't vaccinated.

A whole lot of BS going on.

There are a number of things out there that will not give you natural immunity, Tetanus is one that I know of.

I have a friend who had long haul symptoms, she went and got vaccinated because there are studies that have shown that it helps with long haul symptoms.

Maybe, maybe not but the vaccine keeps more people from needing medical intervention and this is what it is all about. Our medical system cannot support the influx in Hospital admissions.

Any how many people had to be admitted to hospital? How many people needed to be transported by air from Toronto to outlying hospitals in order to make room who if they had been vaccinated may not have needed medical intervention. Entire wards had to be converted to Covid floors in SW Ontario.

That is true and was the original goal, get enough herd immunity to 'plank the curve'. That has been accomplished and still is, only 150 people in the hospital across the province.

So why now demand 100% vaccination, why the social pressures to have everyone get vaccine into the arms even those who have recovered from the virus and have herd immunity. ?

Why are people who have recovered from the virus and have two shots still being put into isolation when they have been in contact with the virus.?

This is not right, we're being told a lot of BS by the Health Care system. The province is no longer in a state of Emergency so why are we still being pushed to get the vaccine, when it's obvious that they know it's not going to prevent the spreading of the virus.

How many people were admitted from the regular flu ? In 2018 the regular flu put 303 children in hospital in the first half of the season. 48 of the children so sick they needed an ICU. Again Toronto cancelled surgery because hospital's were over capacity with influenza.

Maybe the government needed to invest a little more into our already overwhelmed hospitals. Why did field hospital's pop up but then never used? Our hospitals have been overwhelmed for years. Add a little extra and that's what you get.

Maybe our government should of helped a bit more than giving billions to big corp companies that didn't need it. .

We talked about this in the beginning it didn't have to be that way.

Our government deliberately hid therapeutics, overloading our hospitals right off the bat and continue to do so today without the use of therapeutics.
Stop putting vaccine blame on your fellow citizens and put the blame where it belongs on the government and the peoples inability to think.

The fact that there's only 600 icu beds in all of Ontario is pretty nuts as it is......when half were taken up by 90 year olds waiting to be placed in a home.....ya...there's gonna be some shuffling going on.....the way these stats have been manipulated....you'd think the plague was upon us......

Why? Me you and any anyone else on this forum have no idea how to interrupt the information. Sounds like you have already come to some conclusion based on google search but based on my limited experience if they are in the ICU they are vented and they are just trying to keep them alive.

Why does it sound like that? How do you know what anyone's capabilities are besides your own are to interpret information are, you have a hard enough time spelling it? Those are your claims. Sounds like you haven't been paying attention, why would anyone use google for reliable covid information?

Sorry, but anyone with a calculator and using the data from the Health Ontario Covid Dashboard can easily see where the MSM has manipulated the data to make it appear it was far worse than it was. ..ie: Today there was an 50% increase in covid cases....but looking at the data...we went from 4 to 6 cases.

I started looking into that data when the local numbers didn't jive with what we were being told on the news and easily proved their agenda was to create fear so people would stay at home.

True, all that should matter is an anti-body test. If it is positive because you got the vaccine or you had COVID ... doesn't make a difference.

Yup, I have to admit, I was shocked by how few beds we have ... like is the problem COVID, or the lack of infrastructure?
All this being locked up, getting vaccines ... all of it was due to "avoiding a situation where we overwhelm and run out of ICU beds."
Got to wonder ... now that the wheels are turning again ... how much did the vaccine cost us vs. how much would it have cost us to
open up more ICU capacity?

It's crazy......you'd think the hospitals were over flowing...as of yesterday....there are 30 patients in Newmarkets' available 49. Out of those 30....0 were for covid.....if one person goes in tomorrow....it will be written that there's a 100% increase of covid patients now in Newmarket..........

I guess you're having an issue with comprehension, you should read it again to see if that helps.

That is correct and I suspect that number will increase going forward. It would not surprise me if the total lost of life do to shutdowns is greater then the number who died from covid.

I think the government needs to now STOP making decisions on COVID cases by day.
It's almost meaningless now.

With the vaccine (even if the population is 100% double vaccinated) ... WE WILL ALL STILL GET COVID.
The vaccine is not a cure ... it does not prevent you from getting covid.

The ONLY thing it does (or supposed to do) is reduce the severity of the illness.
With 80% of the Ontario population with one shot, and 70% with two ... it is just about time that the number of new
covid cases a day doesn't matter anymore ... in fact we EXPECT it to go up big time!! The vaccine let's us get out, mingle,
etc ... and with increased interaction OF COURSE the numbers will go up ... and in the same time WHO CARES?

The only thing that should matter now is rising number of HOSPITAL STAYS ... severe enough to require ongoing medical
attention (more than one day's stay ... and I'm being nice with that, we can easily increase to more than 2 or 3 days stay).
All the VACCINE was here to do is prevent our medical system from being overwhelmed ... that's it. So now put a metric
out there that is meaningful to specifically that risk ... number of new hospital/ICU cases per day. That's it!

Bandwagon, I’m sorry I didn’t see your plight earlier. It’s not that those on the forum “have no idea how to interrupt the information.” Any information worst of all STATS can be twist to substantiate any point of view. If you have an agenda to push the information is their to display. Unfortunately if there is a real live drama unfolding in front of you. Drawing others into that drama is difficult when they have decide it doesn’t exist, or have no comprehension of what is entailed. The subject of teachers came up a while back, I got the impression that a number on the forum fell the teacher have a 30 or 40 hour workweek, they go to school in the morning come home after school have supper and then kickback and may be watch T.V. Wouldn't that be wonderful and you get the two month break over the summer. Even if I’m generous and allow 1 hour prep time for 1 hour of class time that 30 hour week, doubles two a 60 hour week. In some cases its 3 hour prep time for each hour of class time. There is a big difference from viewing the surface of things and seeing the stress and strains generate by the underling reality. You said your spouse is an ICU nurse, I can’t begin to imagine the magnitude the strain she has had to go through during this pandemic. It not the fact that this virus is likely to wipe huge numbers of the population. It’s the fact that it is exhausting. which from the beginning of the pandemic was already an over burden health care system. The push to have people vaccinated is not a cure all for this virus. It’s simply a need to reduce the pressure on the health care system. Honest guys, on my last vaccination shot, the pharmacist was putting the patch over the needle hole, when I was asking him when he was going to be sticking in the needle.
