Might be worse. A private contractor to collect your data to administer your account (how else would they know how much you are spending on carbon), Account fees, Possibility of negative interest rates to tame the debt and avoid mortgage defaults. What if you rent an apartment downtown, ride a bike to work, that money is pretty much useless. The only thing I like is the tariffs on the made in China crap. The good thing is, Erin wants to continue to work together with the polluters in this country to find solutions that reduce emissions. In some cases the process of reducing emissions create reusable byproducts, beneficial to industry. Something Trudeau is to stunned to understand.
I would rather have my tax decreased and see the polluters reduce emissions, than pay a higher tax and continue to achieve nothing.
Conservationists want results, not just a tax that achieves nothing.
We have them on here saying they don't mind paying more for fuel and everything else in life to help global warming.

For some time now I have been arguing that Justin Trudeau supporters are much like Donald Trump supporters — they can’t take any criticism of their leader no matter how warranted.
He can stand in the House of Commons and tell bald-faced lies – like the claim that Moderna vaccine doses are delayed a “day or two” — at times and those people will accept it and repeat it even as the delays stretch out to two weeks. So basically anyone that cares about honesty, integrity and the future of Canada needs to make sure they get out and vote and discuss just how corrupt and big of liars Justlied and his cult are.
Justlied needs to be removed from office ASAP. He has totally crippled and gutted the Canadian economy. His dismal performance on procurement of covid 19 vaccine should alone wake his flock of sheep to see that he can't even organize an outhouse which this country is quickly turning into under his watch. Unfortunately every day that passes that he is in office this once great country will be worse off for it but don't worry budgets balance themselves he claims.
