The estimate it is it will cost each house $3,000 more per year! Probably looking for a carbon tax excuse to use on natural gas, gotta raise lots of money to build the useless wind turbines and bribe the OPP with another 10% increase.
Can someone please deport this insane woman. Does she even know how much it would cost to heat a house using electricity?!?! We would go broke in 2 months.
Now the sale of Hydro to a private company makes even more sense. She has a plan to increase power consumption big time and her private friends will be hansomely.
Wait....
Get a load of the rest of it!

"The leaked cabinet document, reportedly signed-off on by Premier Kathleen Wynne, lists a jaw-dropping 80 or so policies including: The eventual ban on heating new homes and buildings with natural gas, with only electric or geothermal being legal; $4 billion to be doled out by a “green bank,” funded by carbon taxes, to subsidize retrofits of buildings to get them off natural gas; the requirement that homes undergo an “energy-efficiency audit” before they can be sold; and a stack of rules, regulations and handouts to get an electric car into every two-car household within eight years, including rebates, free electric charging, and plug-in stations at every liquor store."
and more.... from the Federal lunatics!

I must admit, this one of the most disturbing announcements yet. I can't help but think there is a surge of panic running through Ontario industry as they try to come to terms with what their costs will be without access to natural gas. If the rising electicity costs weren't sufficient to push more industry out of the province, this should really be great impetus to send the rest looking for 'not so green pastures'!
If I were a company CEO I would be directing my team to begin an exit strategy. The economic environment is now simply too unstable. How can industry plan when at every turn there is yet another zealous and idealogical economic suicide scheme to cast us all into the dark ages?
Interestingly enough, the unions are quiet. Well no, that is to be expected. They are the in large part responsible to electing this government. I wonder how happy they are now as their elected union-friendly Liberals are putting a knife to the heart of industry. This government has to go, the sooner the better.
