Does his past realy matter for the way he was treated? So he had violent past ,he was also on ground cooperating they had ample time to search and arrested him. Not keep him pinned down while other officers watched for the amount of time he was down like that.

What was point in keeping him like that when clearly there was 3 officers doing nothing.?

Ya, it shouldn't really matter what he did in the past, it's how his real time behaviour that's only relevant.
The cop should have removed his knee from his throat, why didn't he do that, not sure but clearly if he had, that man would not have died that way.

The officer had his knee on his neck for nearly 9 minutes.

9 minutes and no letup at all...... What was he thinking..... or maybe he wasn't........ Clearly his training failed him. It was like he had narrow vision (blinders on/he froze?) there probably some clinical name for what he did because I don't believe the cop knowing wanted to kill him.

He was an almost 20 year veteran,so,he had no excuse. He also had 18 civilian complaints against him. How the hell was he still on the job? The same goes for the "look out" officer standing behind them scanning the street. He was also a veteran who had several complaints against him,too. Something is very,very wrong in St.Paul/Minneapolis Police.

Have you seen the video. They had Floyd in the cop car. Buckled in door shut.

What did Floyd do to get pulled out and on the ground.

In any case, the cop is a douche bag ... you don't need a judge or a jury to see that he's an idiot, and there was excessive
use of force. Even my friends who are cops are calling him a murderer ... and have no sympathy for him. Fentanyl or not,
what that cop did was excessive (in a gross way ... not sure excessive is the right word ... maybe "head blown crazy"? Not sure
the courts will accept that terminology).

I wonder what the cops would do if you were an innocent teenager and it was your first time out with the boys, and one of the kids in your car jumps out and starts to kick the crap out of someone, lays on his neck and he dies, all the while you are standing around and watching. I mean you didn't mean to be there, but you think the cops would have sympathy, or do you think they'd ask ... why didn't you intervene? Why didn't you contact the police?

Why should those cops get any special treatment?
