Guys
Using Australia, New Zealand, the Uk as models of success for banning weapons. Or for any comparative uses.
Just junk.
It’s an Apples to rotten vegetable comparison. They aren’t even both fruit.
All of the above are small islands half way around the world. Don’t share a border with the Wild West. Their “realities” are night and day, from ours. And I’m not even sure. If what they hunt, how they hunt are close enough?
Many people here use slug guns for deer and bear. Do they have anything like Bear there?
And I have witnessed first hand, why semi auto Shotguns are far superior to pump or other.
just ask a hunter that’s had to track a wounded Bear, through thick brush. There’s even some dead hunters you can ask....
This is a picture from Australia looks like alot of hunting guns to me lol.

In the link I provided said shotguns were banned. I see they are reduced to single shots same as some of the rifles they are single shots .
If you want I can post the link here is a screenshot says the gunman used a banned weapon it takes you to the link I posted the man used a 12 gage shotgun that is banned in Australia. In june 2019 a man used a banned gun it was a 12 gage pump action shotgun.
I will post the link too tho for ya. https://www.politifact.com/factcheck...tralia-and-ve/https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...70e5920995.jpg

Firearms categories
The National Firearm Agreement defines categories of firearms, with different levels of control for each, as follows:.
Category A
Rimfire rifles (not semi-automatic), shotguns (not pump-action, semi-automatic, or lever-action)[15], air rifles including semi-automatic, and paintball guns.
Category B
Centrefire rifles including bolt action, pump action and lever action (not semi-automatic), muzzleloading firearms made after 1 January 1901 and lever-action shotguns with a magazine capacity of up to 5 rounds.[15]
Category C
Pump-action or self-loading shotguns having a magazine capacity of 5 or fewer rounds and semi-automatic rimfire rifles up to 10 rounds. Primary producers, farm workers, firearm dealers, firearm safety officers, collectors and clay target shooters can own functional Category C firearms.
Category D
All self-loading centrefire rifles, pump-action or self-loading or lever-action [15]shotguns that have a magazine capacity of more than 5 rounds, semi-automatic rimfire rifles over 10 rounds, are restricted to government agencies, occupational shooters and primary producers.
Category H
Handguns including air pistols and deactivated handguns. This class is available to target shooters and certain security guards whose job requires possession of a firearm. To be eligible for a Category H firearm, a target shooter must serve a probationary period of 6 months using club handguns, after which they may apply for a permit. A minimum number of matches yearly to retain each category of handgun and be a paid-up member of an approved pistol club.[16] Target shooters are limited to handguns of .38 or 9mm calibre or less and magazines may hold a maximum of 10 rounds. Participants in certain "approved" pistol competitions may acquire handguns up to .45 calibre, currently Single Action Shooting and Metallic Silhouette. IPSC shooting is approved for 9mm/.38/.357 SIG, handguns that meet the IPSC rules, larger calibres such as .45 were approved for IPSC handgun shooting contests in Australia in 2014, however only in Victoria so far.[17] Barrels must be at least 100mm (3.94") long for revolvers, and 120mm (4.72") for semi-automatic pistols unless the pistols are clearly ISSF target pistols; magazines are restricted to 10 rounds.
Category R/E
Restricted weapons include military weapons such as machine guns, rocket launchers, full automatic self loading rifles, flame-throwers and anti-tank guns.
Certain antique firearms (generally muzzle loading black powder flintlock firearms manufactured before 1 January 1901) can in some states be legally held without a licence.[18] In other states they are subject to the same requirements as modern firearms.[19]
Certain states, firearms which "substantially duplicates [military-style rifles] in design, function or appearance."[20][21]The implication of this is that any firearm, regardless of its action, may be reclassified into Category D or prohibited if it externally resembles an assault rifle.[22][23]

Here's also a crazy comment.. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/han...mise-1.5238111
re: Bill Blair comments on proposed handgun ban ...
He signalled that he was in favour of a national ban on assault-style weapons, but not handguns, citing both the high cost of compensating owners — an estimated $1.5 billion to $2 billion — and the challenge of making it work.
"It would not, in my opinion, be perhaps the most effective measure in restricting the access that criminals would have to such weapons, because we'd still have a problem with them being smuggled across the border," the former Toronto police chief told the Globe and Mail.

The other thread has almost run its coarse so will post this here.
Want more proof Blair is a conniving sack of S, that CANNOT be trusted?

For the most part I agree with you. The liberals for time immortal have PROVEN to be untrustworthy. Bill Blair has proven it as well. If nothing remember the G20.....
I will be sharing this on facebook. I need to think about the right hook. Gun owners will read it. The people we need reading stuff?
And so what if, we, start fighting fire with Fire a bit. Bend things a little. They’ve done it for years!
Here’s the article. Read it, from his own bloody playbook. How to win the PR battle. Because if you don’t sell the “silent” unknowledgable majority. it’s lost.
But instead of having a plan to justify buying scary ARs....how do you ban them
he’s a scheming, sack of S. A career politician. That has zero credibility. That is not “fear mongering” and cannot be ignored.
