Yep, they don't like the reality at all, they love mentioning Duffy but bring up Marc Harb etc...and don't forget Poodeau* taking $20,000 a pop for speaking to charities and school boards... while Harper donated the proceeds of his book on hockey to charity, reorganized the pensions (G&M said it cost him about $1,000,000 over his lifetime) etc.

* Seems like a better name, invokes the Montreal sewage dumping and no insult meant to the poodle the preened trimmed poodle look.

Of course when they talk about Canada's tax rates they don't include:
1) The goods and service taxes.
2) The taxes on transportation (about 1/4 the price of a litre of gas)
3) The gov't dictated electrical rate (just got cottage electric bill, electricity for last quarter $31.66, rest of charges $133.37 )
4) CPP contributions (that Justin said they would increase too)
