We are all for ending the mandates, but the Ottawa protest is unlawful. If it continues without action from authorities, then the rule of law means nothing anymore.

Who's we? If it was unlawful why hasn't there been arrests made? The rule of law doesn't apply to your leader why should it apply to protestors?

I thought “we” as in all of Canada would like to see mandates dropped. As far as the lack of action, I can only figure the blame falls on the former chief of police in Ottawa. Surely you must agree that is unlawful. Even the conservative politicians have said so.

There are other ways to protest lawfully. If the current protesters want to make their point, they should leave and not face arrest. Then stage further lawful protests at later dates. Why fall prey to government tactics when you can return to fight another day.

The Liberals did not block the border, did not stop trade, did not lose auto sector jobs,.

The moment the protesters arrived and parked in Ottawa they were illegal, by blocking roads, in violation of numerous by laws, without permits.

The protesters hoped for Government over reaction which did not occur.

They were given plenty of time and warnings, and as they continued to harm Canada, now enforcement action has been forced on them.

The Canadian public are behind the Government as they know democracy could fail if it goes the other way.
