When the government will not enforce the rule of law, and do not back the police, why would the police? No different than COs not enforcing offences by natives.
they are no doubt getting their orders from superiors...whether from within the organization or from governments.

Just playing the other side, if they are not enforcing the law then why do we have them? Maybe they should only be paid based on the percentage that then enforce.

I do not disagree with you, it looks a hell of a lot better on the OPP not doing anything than rounding up natives and locking them up, but they could also just hand out the judicial ruling and blame the Liberals too for the enforcement, make them look worse than they already do.

There is no easy way out of this thing.

There’s an old adage, Discretion is the better part of valour. If enforcing a “law” will result in injuries or worse, to both police and the public/protesters, the prudent course of action is to back off and let the powers that be, in this case politicians, sort it out !

I thought so too until there was a report of a person telling an officer ,people were drinking in the parking lot up the road. Including the driver open beers on new year's. The cop ignored the man and told him to call 911 if he was concerned lol

But....
1) The powers that be are incompetent
2) The powers that be there now usually side with the criminal/terrorist and seem to hate the victim
3) When questioned about it today his first response was to site Harper....
but wasn't it the Conservatives that started the reconciliation commission.... and made the chiefs and councils accountable and disclose spending...
4) the Liberal us vs them will screw up the economy, investment and result in huge economic problems before they are done... likely to be used to throw money at the radials and ignoring those the groups that signed off
5) intimidation by radicals and the law abiding ignore.... usual Liberals
6) ignoring foreign funding and completely idiotic socialist/communists seems to be on par for them too.

Well when the food/clean water become an issue in the cities etc. we will see how badly they will bungle it.... hey Justlied can be like daddy again (either one...your pick.) send in the military and impose martial law. Not enforcing the law is usual for Libs and the police are smart to just do as absolutely told in this case.... they are damned if they do or don't.

Another "bin there,dun that",but, from first hand experience,the average citizen has no idea the extent of political interference in the justice system that exists in the case of First Nation offenders. Political correctness rules the day and shyte really does roll down hill....in great big stinkin' brown turds,too. I hope First Nations shuts this country and it's useless disfunctional,fckued up government down until there's no more groceries in the stores,no gas for vehicles and the lefties are freezing to death in the dark. Maybe,then,they'll get their heads out of their a**es and smarten up.
