It has nothing to do with evidence, many of the countries linked to terrorism are also linked economically to the US so therefore they do not get any ban, Saudi Arabia, Afganistan, Pakistan, they all have just as many or more links to terrorist groups as all the rest but they have no ban.

It is all about business and drumming out racist sentiment, it is BS.

If you want evidence based bans you need to ban all US born Christians as they kill way more people per person than Islamic terrorists born outside the US.

We didn't list Saudi based on threat assessment and the fact that their intel community is becoming better AND they cooperate with us with intel on terrorist activities.

Besides a sovereign country has EVERY RIGHT to evaluate and or deny access at any moment in time AND for any length of time to the US. It has been this way since 1952 or in some parts of Title 8 sec 1182 since 1990.

There are few details so far and the implications are going to be big I think. I look at the reaction, it is in Canada but Justin is already jumping up and down screaming. I think back of the 6 Canadians killed by confirmed terrorists on humanitarian trip and then he went to a Mosque to take selfies ... so I expect a Canada wide version of Quebec's bill that bans criticism of Islam, firearm changes and who knows what else this ideologue (or convert as some suggest) will do. The RCMP are not calling it a terrorist attack but our Liberal ideologues are .... why is he jumping to conclusions?

Extreme vetting that they are talking about (and Liberals seem to be against... maybe Omar Alghabra has some something to do with it??) is the way of getting rid of atleast some of that small minority but the worst will be the radicalized converts like the two above but without a police state there isn't alot that can be done. Extreme vetting on Saudi Arabia would have been required for 9/11 Trade towers attack so no one knows but it is better than doing nothing I think.

A white caucasian , Christian, etc. immigrant coming from the USA has to turn over all emails, associated/pertinent photos, police investigation record, fingerprints, and similar evidence to enter the immigration process.

It should be at least that equal and even require more strict vetting for all coming from terrorist countries into the WEST. Any less is irresponsible and naive. Partnering with Soros isn't a good immigration policy.

We are discussing a current temporary ban on people arriving from 7 Obama picked terrorist countries that are based on current intelligence reports AND the state of ISIS.
