Now Wynne and gang want us to heat with hydro !!

Electrical code allows for 48 Volt wiring systems without building permit
Off the grid folks are being denied Occupancy Permit because the need to connected to power source for fire code
Municipalities are requiring a 115V ECE system to be installed
Wynne is looking at charging people who are off the grid, who have transmission lines on road side of property "delivery to you charges" because they have to maintain hydro infrastructure. Don't believe me, cottage users who are getting zero use bills with distribution charges added.
The way forward is to buy a property with no transmission line in an unincorporated township it seems
But that will go the way of water/septic charging proposed by City of Ottawa
When does government intrusion end, where did our freedom of choice and rights go.
I truly fear for my kids future.

Paying for future potential use? I can believe this - though I'd like to see proof.

When the township my cousin lives in 'decided' to bring in water, everyone that fell within a 'prescribed area of service' had to cap their wells and start paying outrageous bills (well over $1K a year) for the 'convenience'. The point? Never underestimate what government can and will do.

The proof is cottage people who getting bills for zero, but still getting delivery to charges. When brought up by Patrick Brown (C), it became a liberal topic of "why are we not doing this"
