IF a guy pees on a pregnancy test and it comes up positive, he'd better get to the doctor. It would mean that he has cancer of prostate or stones.

Well it was just the warehouse staff that got freaked out over a positive test.
The Pharmacist knew it was a " GOOD" thing to have the positive, then I think she had to explain things to the people in the office.
The guy in the office that was shouting and freaking out the first time I went in the office, would not even look towards me when I went back to get the paperwork.
Also they were being apologetic about the whole thing. People are just stressed out over it.
Yes, stressed in workplaces for sure. I'm the guy on the other end trying to keep my coworkers from being infected by you dirty truck drivers! Kidding of course, you guys have had it rough, but we get a lot of our materials from New York and New Jersey. We've had to make some adjustments to keep contact between drivers and workers minimal. We've gone mostly paperless and the drivers have an entirely separate area now that is cleaned by a third party.
Hey, you're immune! Congrats!

Well since you get to play virus cop, how's this sound for a theory.
Some suit above you( warehouse staff) gets info about a 15 minute Covid-19 test. Since they don't take the time to properly read it, they assume things and order a few thousand test kits.
Sound like something possible.?
Oh we're nowhere near testing or even any real screening. Just a questionnaire at the gate and some changes to how shipper receivers interact with drivers. No paperwork exchanged from driver to employees, it gets scanned to email and printed. Driver gets a signed copy back from the employee.
We're the unionized workers, I'm one of the representatives in the plant. As you can imagine, it took a lot of work on our end to get the company even put the current measures in place. There was talk about temperature screening at the gate but it was decided that non-professionals using such equipment could end up with overreactions caused by improper use. Not unlike what you just experienced. In the end it seemed like extremely limiting contact between drivers and warehouse employees was the better way to go. So far so good, although I've been home now for 2 weeks and counting with the kids.

Oh the December bug that was going around hard lol.
I'm another one that may have had it in December but I will never know I'm Ontario where they have had the worst testing around lol.
Less then 2.2 percent of Canadians have been tested. The other 97.8 of Canadians have to be extremely sick to be tested lol. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
Glad you are ok and well
Keep on truckin...

GW11, what I was saying is that I have a theory that someone up in management( at the New Jersey company)saw info about a Covid-19 test but did not fully read about it. They got a pile of tests, and arranged to pay to have the unemployment Pharmacists to be at the gate and give the tests. The management person and the warehouse personal may have not known it was a test for Antibodies and not for an infectious person.
