That is correct. My buddy is an electrical engineer and probably know more about the enteral workings then any technician. He doesn't really have a house he has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen the rest is a electrical shop where he experiments with building electrical stuff and his new sideline is artificial intelligence, he has a shop we also built which is now a mini machine shop, the only thing he still wants is a metal lathe.
I told him if I have to help set that up I want to cases of beer and he can build me new racks for my ATV's and a canoe rack.
Not really sure why he just likes making things for fun.

Yes I love the unit and it is the first year we have something close to central air.
Mean while I am in the garage sweating. Maybe I will put a portable air conditioner in the garage.
If your garage is tight just a dehumidifier works wonders.

Yeah I was suppose to go to the range but didn't get up in time this morning.
Was also suppose to go camping but I cancelled as it was going to rain up there I chose correctly it rained.
Going camping either June 11 or the 18th not sure yet.

I love mine. It cost me an average 120 a month to heat with it, which is cheaper then firewood if I had to pay for wood, but I get mine free. In my case I generally run the wood stove if it goes below -10C but it rarely went that low this winter, so I didn't burn much wood.
My son works these days with two part time jobs so he rarely had time to put a fire on.
Mine is the LG model and is rated for -26C. It went as low as -31C here twice and my fire went out around 2 AM and the pump was humming away. Still not as nice as wood heat.
Cooling wise it's dirt cheap probably cost me an average of 30 bucks a month at most.
My Unit is 24000 BTU and I have one head in the basement at 12000 BTU and one up stairs 12000 BTU. The one up stairs is not in the best location to push heat down the hallway but it works. I could add a third ceiling head of 8000 BTU but were never cold hot air rises from the basement.
However they really mark up the units here in Ontario and I got mine at cost and had a friend purchase it install it so I could have the warranty. It took one day to install in total and my friend still made a decent profit. I paid 10500.00 all in. A company in Kemptville was going to charge me close to 17K. Tried to claim it would take 2 or 3 days to install (it doesn't).
My house is 1200 sq ft + 1200 basement.
I also replaced all of our windows the past 3 years and one door, which I think probably made a bug difference in the basement. The basement only had single pane sliding windows with gaps.
The system is 240 volt. I thought I had enough room in the electrical box but didn't so I had to buy a sub panel.
