Mark Carney: His role in the Great Reset

I don't think an unbridled free market is the answer but I think we have passed the sweet spot (a very long time ago) with a proper balance between the free market and required, very limited intervention by the government.

When I talk about lifting people out of poverty it's places like Africa, that aid comes from rich capitalist countries. When looking at the world, no one in Canada or the US is really poor they just think they are based on their surroundings. There are people in unfortunate circumstances but the there is a social system to help them out, which is paid for by the capitalist system.

Yes education and healthcare are more socialism than capitalism but the money for the socialist policies come from the capitalist system. Also a smart capitalist realizes that education and healthcare are necessary investments for a prosperous future.

The happiness question is a new topic all on it's own. I think the loss of a religious foundation and deterioration of the family unit in the West is the cause of most of our unhappiness and those two things are closely connected. Western society has chipped away at it's religious foundations without providing anything sufficient to replace it.

Is the problem with capitalism the idea itself or is it the political systems that corrupt it?

I would side on the people corrupt it ( which includes the political elite). In essence a chicken/egg question. Is society a reflection of our governments/policy, or are the institutions more a reflection of society. And if, the latter which segment.

I’m not sure it will be in my lifetime. But if the rise of populism, and the disenfranchisement of so many across the pond, and in the US are signs and harbingers....

We are so far from this stage (when the people are bitter and hopeless, to a point where there is no other choice for them, then to revolt)that major change happening in the near future is slim, to none.
My 2 cents.

They have more of a work ethic than most Canadians today. 50% of Canadians will whine and complain that the neighbour owns more.

If as part of this reset you were told you would have to give up 50% of your pension are you in or out!

Consider populism, which many mistake for conservatives, it’s more anti establishment than anything. Then there’s Trump and his supporters. We Canucks might be docile but the US certainly isn’t. My lifetime? Doubt it, but who knows. This is one thing the Left just flat refuses to acknowledge in their hubris. For all their talk, things are getting much worse. Do they have a better work ethic? Maybe, I’m not sure. How many Swedes, Norwegians do you know that have left their countries for a better life?.........I know a lot of people, with heritages from all over the world. Don’t know any Scandavians unless we count a few Dutch.

That said, while they are taxed more ( I think) they also aren’t paid as much. Meaning the gap between Doctor and x isn’t as wide.
People go into professions that interest them. Where as here it’s about $$ and capitalism. Are their youth leaving schools with mountains of debt, and suffering from depression?

Most of the EU, gets far more stat days compared to our 11. Most start with 4-6 weeks vacation. Etc and et al.

The be all and end all? Nope.
But it’s pretty hard to argue the west isn’t screwed up, and Capitalism as we know it is done and at the root of many, many problems.

We dont have Capitalism anymore - we have Crony Capitalism which only suits the elites, which is the reason why it exists. I am always amazed at the lack of understanding what Capitalism isn't and what Free Market Capitalism is supposed to be - no government intervention in free markets.

JBen - what strikes me from you (in this statement: "Capitalism as we know it is a failure") and I consider you very knowledgeable, on FIAT Banking, Fractional Reserve, and the Loss of the Gold Standard and actually how money is created without physical asset backing anymore.

To make that statement "Capitalism as we know it is a failure", is either a lack of understanding the difference between "what is" and "what it was intended to be".

So we have Crony Capitalism - not free market capitalism and crony capitalism is the problem - which was created due to protectionisms (National interests, job protection, ect,ect. All pollical tools used for elections - I.E. state controls). This is Crony Capitalism is failing.

SO that leads to question, what do you replace it with - the OP says Carney suggested "marshalled to help discover and drive solutions in a form of mission-oriented capitalism”. So we might call “sustainability” . Well lets analyze what that means - Private ownership of businesses be taken over by government to remove the evil greedy capitalists from making profits, being evil and greedy - they must be the problem. Further socially, we should share collectively in the wealth of companies..to help the less fortunate (Socially acceptable, get votes, makes you look great - politics)

All the communist take over of any country, used all those enemies, wording, and causes to enact socialism, communism, or democratic socialism and in the end the people suffered.

So in your agreed and utopian idea - will the owner of current corporations start getting paid less, will the global elite start living within their (new) means, will they give up all their wealth to be more fair and equitable...Or will the just fold into state ownership of all means of production - which is the goal - and be part of elite who control it now, and influence goverments.

You see until people realize that the problem is state interference in the Free Market, ownership of all your rights, means of production and private property...the only path is exactly what you decide and Mark Carney are describing...and it will happen. This is the last shot to stop it, there will be no chance after the next 5 yrs, without a full revolution of the people rising up against state tranny.

People should look up useful idiots in the steps of communism and they are eliminated after helping to install it.

Capitalism as we know it.
You define that as Crony capitalism. So are my statements wrong? Is it not a failure and is this not potentially the beginning of the end?

We could also look at the fall of the Roman Empire. There are similarities. With respect to the rich, taxation, having to fund armies ( public service) taxation have nots, farmers abandoning , etc etc

I don’t think, you think, I’m a fan of socialism. Certain aspects or certain parts? Yes. I guess we could sum that up, as me believing that too much of anything is rarely a good thing. Or all things in moderation. Or take the best of both.

As someone else noted. The system be it Capitalism, or socialism or a happy medium. Isn’t corrupt.

The people are.

This whole great reset is all about the climate change so they say.

But what is it they are trying to change?

Droughts been happening for thousands of year's the biggest casualty drought was in the 1900s since records began .


Fires ? Been happening for hundreds , thousands of years well before man.

Floods again happened before since the beginning of time.
Tsunamis , earthquakes, volcanoes they are going to happen can't stop them.


Millions will be displaced all around the world and we can't change what's going to happen.

Warming trends? Ice ages ? All happened multiple times again before man so how does one fix this?


Oh yeah a tax will fix it sure it will.

It all happened well before we had a tax before money was created. Before human existence man can stop the inevitable from happening.

How do we stop the next big earthquake and stop buildings from collapsing ? How will a tax stop the next tsunami from hitting a major coastal city killing thousands ?


Can we really stop what's going to happen this is the top issues of concern with millions of people going to be displaced.

So what can we do to stop anything mentioned ? Storms of century happens all the time all over the world.

Ps we can't say it cost more for hurricanes because of inflation. They claim the climate change is costing more money bigger storms reking havoc but it's all untrue.

These storms have been happening for hundreds of years . We are better prepared now to save more lives but it won't stop the dangerous and damaging effects to the buildings.

What cost 105 million in 1928 is over 160 billion in today's dollars.

Did we just arrive here facing all these problems ... or were we lead here, because for a change in plan to work ... they need support from the world ... so why not create a monster we are all scare of, so we all support the solution. All I can say is the reserve bank money printing, and low interest rates fed this beast ... all they have to do now is raise the interest rates to around 8% and we will all be looking for a great reset.

Once the level of criminality at the top is exposed to the world, we'll be changing our financial system.
The plan is to remove the Vatican, all Royalties, the Central Banks and others from the equation. They've been the problem from the get go as you pointed out.

This video is the Quantum Financial System that's reported to be currently test running parallel with ours and is apparently set up for a smooth transition with the awakening. We'll see.
