But seriously, it is a terrible mistake.

thats BS no charges are filed...know your target before you shoot I cant imagine she was much of a hunter I dont believe its that difficult to distinguish between a pig and human in night vision or thermal...terrible judgement she should do jail time at least..pigs have tails and ears and snout and also body shape is totally dissimilar to a humans that "pig" would have had to be so far away to not be able to determine those stand out features and at that point she should have waited to ID the target...pure negligence when night time thermal hunting to just head shot a blob on the screen because it has a heat signature...total incompetence I say lock her up...she probably has connections in law enforcement or batted the eyes a bit and made a believable sob story...it may be a mistake but it should not go unjustified. Is this not the classic definition of man slaughter? (no pun intended)

Well, women screw up just like men. She should have been charged.

That's a novel way to solve the problem spouse situation isn't it? "Hi honey,let's go hog huntin' tonight".

I saw a murder/mystery show once where the women did just that. Forensics caught her up though.
