FED Issue #14 - Changes to Supreme court coming, no more regional representation, must be bilingual!
Changes to Supreme court coming, no more regional representation, must be bilingual! Trudeau showing that he is only interested in Quebec and transformation of Canada .... changing the way we vote, changing the Supreme Court... seems like his admiration for dictatorships is showing to me! Brian Lilley has it right, Harper wouldn't talk to the head of the Supreme court and interfere on a decision, Trudeau wants to make sure only his decisions are made it seems!

All candidates must be functionally bilingual, the government says. (Guess which province they will be from!)
The three members of the advisory board appointed by the Trudeau government include: Ms. Campbell, who served as prime minister in 1993 when she led the Progressive Conservative Party, former Northwest Territories premier Stephen Kakfwi and Lili-Anna Peresa, president of Centraide of Greater Montreal. Centraide is the Quebec presence of United Way Canada.
The government will mandate the advisory board to support the goal of a gender-balanced Supreme Court that also reflects Canada’s diverse society. With Justice Cromwell’s departure, the bench is equally split between men and woman and so a new ninth judge will tilt the balance one way or another.
“A diverse bench brings different and valuable perspectives to the decision-making process, whether informed by gender, ethnicity, personal history, or the myriad other things that make us who we are,” Mr. Trudeau wrote.
Hmmm..... What a choice for a committee.... of the three listed there we have a woman from École Polytechnique, an advisor for WWF and a failed PM and 4 unknowns... anyone know who they are? I haven't seen or looked yet.
Knowing Trudeau he will find a woman that is not Caucasian, Muslim and a proponent of Sharia Law and of dramatic environmental change, probably a homosexual, anti-firearm...what else.... hmmm.... OH French speaking from Quebec and Liberal of course, for the empty seat.
P.S.
Hoping I am wrong.... but time will tell.
