Weird events

There is a thread running about home invasion/ppl making mistakes and entering wrong homes.

I got an ocassion,when i went t to a store in the mall.
Entered the store-did my purchase,and went out to grab my car.

I knew the row,but was not paying much attention to where in that row the car is parked.Just a rough idea.
Stepped to "my"car,stuck the key in the door,opened the door,and sat down.
AT THAT moment ,i looked up,and saw something weird on "my dash".:scream:
Looked in the mirror-and voila,the vehicle was full with kids stuff.

NOT MY CAR!

I jumped out ,as the car is about to explode.
Steped out -and was ,what the hell?
Then realized,my car is just 3 cars over.....


I went over,and waited outside at my car for 5-10 minutes,leaning on my car-if the proper owner comes out,or saw me entering his vehicle-called the cops............to expalin what just happened.

No one came around-so i left.

Still unsure if the car was unclocked,or my key actually managed to open the vehicle.

Not that hard to make this kind of mistake....

Same happened to me a couple of times.
Darn remote opening FOB's.
The car manufacturers do not make an infinite number of unlock codes.

Chances are that the vehicle would not have started as they mix up the unlock and start codes.
That was my experience anyway.

I did same ran into a store came back out jumped back in was about to start up when I noticed it was clean what the heck this isn't my vehicle lol.

About 25 years ago we were engaged to be married and were required to do marriage counseling sessions or whatever it was called... It took place in my wife's hometown where all the houses looked a like...
Half way through I went out for a smoke break.. only walked across the street next to my car... Once I finished I walked back into the house only to find a man sitting on the couch... I was like WTF... He stood up and said to me and said.... I think you want the house next door.. boy did I feel silly..

I live downtown Burlington and during the labour day ribfest my inlaws would come in from Windsor and we would always walk down to Spenser Smith park for a rib dinner. Several years back we were getting hammered by remnants of a hurricane - the waves were breaking off the breakwall and spraying 60yds into the park! So we agree that the tradition must continue but this year we will get the ribs and bring them home and eat them in the comfort of my dining room.

So my wife drives us down to Lakeshore in the black Grand Caravan and drops me and my father in law (Pete) to get the ribs. Our plan was Pete was going to get two beers and I would order the ribs and we would meet up under the small tent and wait for my food order. We finish the beers and our food order was ready so Pete grabs the two bags of ribs and heads towards lakeshore where my wife said she would meet us. I pay the guy and grab and bag of corn and some condiments and follow behind him in the torrential downpour. I watch him walk up the hill to lakeshore and walk towards a black mini van. He opened the side door and jumped in with the food and closed the door behind him. The lady in the drivers seat had the look of horror on her face when the side door flew open and out jumped Pete laughing so hard he almost fell over. We were two mini vans behind him.

I seriously almost wet my pants watching this unfold.

I did the same......marriage classes (run by a priest and very religious couple). I could easily pick the other guys that were being strong armed into this but some were quite vocal but I usually kept my mouth shut looked down and drank my coffee. The priest starts a exercise by naming the building blocks of a strong marriage. People started naming off things like trust, openness, communication, and everyone would then comment why it is important. Well we get near the end of the exercise and are grasping for straws then someone throws out monogamy and the guy behind me says, "have you seen the price of that stuff.......that is going to be one expensive house"...........just as I had a mouth of coffee I start to laugh and out my nose it comes and then all hell breaks loose.

Needless to say it was a pretty quite drive home for quite a few of us.

lol I had weird one happen around 15 years ago.
it was Saturday night and I came home alone early, was watching a movie, when the front door which was unlocked opened and the girl that lived next floor above me walks in, I could see she is almost blacked out ... I stand up and say Hey, she doesnt even see me !

she then walks to the bedroom, takes her dress off and falls on the bed !

so while thinking I should have asked god for money .. I realized this could lead to alot of Issues .. so I called the building concierge, told them the story, and they said its best to let the police know too ...
long story short, she realized what happened when I woke her up, and we ended up dating for around 3 years lol

So,we go to St Maarten for my wife's 50-th B day.
We are in the resort,and the day comes to celebrate.

We go down to the Restaurant(end of a nice walkway,some beutifull trees around us....and the Caribbean splashing nearby)
Hot,perfect evening.
We stay "in the line"to get in for the dinner,people behind us.Few couples,few families.Who cares.........
I am chatting with the waiteress about the ocassion,so to have some "nice "treatment for my wife.She is just to my right.My arm is alongside my body slacking.
We just wait for the go ahead.

The waitress comes,and she says-You may go ahead Sir!

I grab her left hand with my right,and make a step.

Something does not seems right-the hand is a bit weird(i sort of know this,after 30 years of marriage ) AND she DOES NOT react at all!
I take a step-she does not.
I look at her-sort of over my right shoulder-and her hands are slacking alongside her body!!!

WOW,what is in my hand then?
Look down-there is a hand in my hand-then look way back to my right.........by that time there is a loud laugh from the couple standing just behind us.

The Lady stepped to me from behind-when i reached for my wife's hand,and the Lady "offered"to grab her hand. Just like that.
And i grabbed it................there was laughter to tears.
We did not know them-she just saw an opportunity to make a big joke, especially since they overheard our Anniversary talks.

That was something else..........
