Interesting situation,with slight "contribution" to the situation evolving as it was ,from the boy himself(in my opinion).

I kind of wonder, if i can get some feedback from those with related background; why there is a "need" for FIVE LEOs to push and pull a 16 years old?

Looking at the young man,one -or max two full size LEOs would be able to roll him up and package him in-if there was a need for that at all(not debating that being right or wrong).

Yet-there are 5 LEOs all over the single -wee lad?

Why there is a need for that.......just trying to understand.

Yes I remember reading about this, but there has never been any update.

I was pretty on board with this being a miscarriage of justice and still am in relation to the arrest, but when the Rebel reporter goes off on a tangent about Justine Trudeau being involved and the RCMP acting under his direction, I think they lost the plot.

What your seeing is the same thing that has been going on down here with regard to misconduct by police - one can just imagine what it was like before people began filming the police - the average citizen had little recourse to punish police who broke the law and violated a citizen's rights - finally people got fed up with the whole policing system and began to take steps to change it - I feel sorry for the cop who is a good cop and has respect for citizens but by supporting the bad cops things have gotten to a point that the average citizen doesn't trust cops and will not cooperate with them

Because there's been little or no followup by the news media on this story it makes we think that a deal has been struck between the family and the police. Guess we'll see as time goes by.

If that happened - it is wrong - cops should be fired if they do unlawful things to citizens - not given 3 days off with pay

Boy oh boy, you just can't feel safe anywhere around them anymore.

I think this Alberta case is an exception to what is usually good policing by Ontario police. They're working in the sticks and just don't get the exposure to everyday crime that an officer in Edmonton, Calgary or the GTA would get on a daily basis. This has been so poorly handled that that family more than deserves apologys and compensation for their ordeal.
